I am posting the least disturbing of the pics that we took, but even so, beware that some of these may be a bit intense to look at.
Right before we handed her off to the anesthesiologist.
The first glimpse we got of her after the surgery. They often kept her uncovered during recovery as she was running a low grade fever.
So many machines for one little baby.
As the days progressed, so did her swelling. This was about day three after the surgery.
In the PICU
Tired Mama.
Tired Dada.
Back at home with a smile. Her head is still swollen.
Today, head is looking like all swelling is gone.
Before surgery.
After surgery.
Before the surgery.
After surgery.

Wow! Zoe's back-home pictures look absolutely great to me....in fact, she looks almost unbelievably good!
You on the other hand...that's what living on caffeine, worry, and adrenalin for waaaaay too long looks like. Been there, done that. :)
Take good care, dears.. there's all kinds of love and a Universal Healing Principal on your side. Laura
Wow, Zoe looks amazing! Thanks for sharing these photos. It's amazing how dramatic the difference is... and also, incredible how quickly she's healed.
Hugs your way!

Thank you so much for sharing more of your experience with some pictures - especially the panoramic view in the video of the room that you practically lived in, with all its machines hooked up to one tiny body. What a difficult journey it's been, but Zoe looks fantastic! And smiling so beautifully as if to tell everyone she can handle anything and come out happy! Mama and Dada don't look too good, though. I'm definitely hoping you're getting good rest and good food and good lovin' from everyone! Many thanks are going to be given this Thanksgiving...
